Nick Cannon has several children, including a son with Selling Sunset star Bre Tiesi. Their on-and-off relationship has generated numerous headlines, especially in recent years.
Nick and Bre met years ago on the set of “Wild ‘n Out,” a long-running competition series featuring comedic sketches and rap improv battles. Nick is the creator and host of the series, which has been going strong on VH1 since 2005. Here, they struck up a relationship, but eventually broke things off for a few beats. During their downtime, Nick went on to father a small army of children, with several different women that he still (mostly) retains solid relationships with.
Nick first became a father in 2011, following the birth of his twins. These days, his lineage has drastically increased. So, how many kids does Nick have? And where does he currently stand with Bre? Here’s the tea.

Nick Cannon currently has 12 children.
But is he done? “I leave it to the Lord,” he recently answered.
In 2008, Nick married Mariah Carey. His little legacies started entering this world shortly after. Their twins, Moroccan and Monroe, were born in 2011. They are now 14 years old, but if you ask Mariah about Nick or their co-parenting journey, she will likely leave you on read.
Following their divorce, Nick welcomed three children with model Brittany Bell. Their son, Golden, was born in 2017, followed by their daughter, Powerful, in 2020, and finally, their son, Rise, in 2022.
Around the same time, Nick, a self-proclaimed non-monogamous man, had another set of twins, Zion and Zillion, in 2021 with DJ and radio personality Abby De La Rosa. In 2022, they added a third child to the mix, their daughter, Beautiful.
In this same era, Nick and model Alyssa Scott welcomed a baby son named Zen in 2021. Sadly, seven months later, Zen passed away from a brain tumor. Their daughter, Halo, arrived the following year.
However, Nick also had two other children in 2022. Legendary, his son with Bre, was born in June. Meanwhile, his daughter, Onyx, whom he shares with model LaNisha Cole, was born in September.
Is Nick Cannon dating anyone?
Currently, Nick is practicing consensual non-monogamy with Bre and Abby. As for Bre, Nick was her plus one at the Selling Sunset Season 9 premiere party last month. But while he and Bre are doing their thing, Nick is also enjoying time with Abby.
Last week, Nick and Abby went on a romantic pilgrimage to Nobu Los Cabos in Mexico to celebrate her 35th birthday. On Instagram, Abby shared a reel of her and Nick, resting, relaxing, and possibly creating another life to add to their growing team, courtesy of a bed covered in roses. The drinks, vibes, food, and rest were all solid, Abby narrated. But even better was “all the sexy time we had,” she quipped.
Shortly after they returned, Nick spent Halloween with both women, just at different times. On November 1, Abby posted an image of herself, Nick, and their three children, all wearing matching skeleton onesies. In her shared shots, we also see Nick holding Abby from behind. Meanwhile, her arm is up and draped lovingly backwards over his neck.
Two days later, Bre posted several Spider-Man-themed images with Nick and their son. In her captain, Bre joked that they “were bitten by a radioactive spider.” Among her many photos and reels shared in this post, we also see Bre and Nick kissing. And in the comments, Nick wrote, “I love y’all!”

During Season 9 of Selling Sunset, Bre offered fans an update on her relationship with Nick. In one scene, we see Bre catching up with her sister, Alexis Tiesi. After Alexis reveals that she always has a “boyfriend, or two,” Bre says, “I haven’t had multiple [boyfriends] in a long time. I miss those days.”
“Yeah. I’m glad you’re happy,” Alexis responded. Agreeing, Bre noted that she is “happy. He’s amazing. I love Nick. I have no complaints,” unlike “everyone else [on her cast] having a problem with it. Whatever that means.”
But her haters are “all ending up not together, or divorced, or whatever situation happens for them, and I’m not,” Bre shaded. ‘Oop.
On a recent podcast, Bre further explained, “I’d like to be very clear. We don’t co-parent; we are very much together. And that’s why people are confused.” As for their unconventional relationship, Bre said, “he has other partners, and we’re just open and happy, and that’s our thing … People call it all kinds of sh*t, I call it ‘I do what I want to do.’“
As for Nick, at the premiere party, he told the reporters in attendance that he and Bre are doing “Amazing! We’re never gonna not be together. That’s family. That’s the mother of my children.”
