If you’ve watched The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys, you already know Cole McBee plays a major role in the chaos. Cameras catch him juggling ranch duties, family blowups, and the ups and downs of his relationship with Kacie Adkison, including their talks about marriage.
The couple welcomed a baby girl last year, which added a major life change during an already intense stretch for the McBee family. Cole continues dealing with the fallout from his father Steven McBee Sr.’s FBI investigation and conviction, and he works to keep his own path steady through it all.
Now, Cole and Kacie have taken the next step and gotten engaged. They recently shared how the moment unfolded.
Cole McBee and Kacie Adkison are officially engaged
Cole proposed on November 7 with a 3.16 carat ring. He told PEOPLE, “Kacie is the biggest spy. She knows everything going on, and we were able to keep it a secret. It surprised her, and that was the number one thing I wanted.”
Cole said, “We 100% included our daughter. We want to include her in everything we do. She’s our whole world and our whole life.”
Kacie said, “I had no idea. I thought we were just going to dinner, and when I was walking outside, I thought I was being pranked.” The scene shifted when she saw Cole and Blair waiting near a flower covered trail.
Cole said, “The McBee family is super excited.” Kacie said her relatives already saw Cole as family and somehow kept the surprise from slipping.
They hope to marry next fall on the farm and additionally want a mechanical bull at the celebration. No word on if unpredictable CFO of McBee Farm & Cattle Co, Galyna Saltkovska, will score an invite – a major plot point when Cole’s brother, Jesse McBee, got married last season. Between the ranch’s legal drama and an engagement, Season 3 is also shaping up to be jam-packed.
