The midseason trailer for Below Deck Mediterranean just dropped. It’s a good one. Season 10 is about to dock it like it’s hot, or so these featured storylines tease.

From love triangles and a visiting yachtie to frustrating guests and even an unclimbable yacht, the chaos that lies ahead looks right up fans’ alley. And from everything I can gather, all yachties, minus perhaps Aesha Scott, are about to have at least one challenging moment as Season 10 progresses.

Earlier, I spoke with Aesha about Season 10. She promised engaging storylines, with fewer toxic notes than before. Yes, random hookups and broken hearts are still in store. But instead of sexual trysts creating all the drama, other storylines will also take over.

Nathan Gallagher makes a big admission to Gael Cameron

Nathan Gallagher met Gael Cameron in Season 9. They dated, both during and after filming. However, Gael did not return for Season 10. But Nathan did, and when he reappeared, he was single.

As the midseason trailer shows, Gael will soon visit Nathan. But, at some point before her arrival, Nathan and Kizzi Kitchener will make out at least once. Yes, he and Gael were on a break. But as soon as Nathan confesses his semi-sin to Gael, her visit takes an abbreviated turn for the worse.

“What are you doing tomorrow?” Nathan asks Gael in the trailer. Gael responds, “I’d be happy to come out with you.” Once she arrives, Nathan confesses, “I kissed Kizzi.” In response, a tearful Gael says, “I hate you.”

In his talking head, Nathan admits that her feelings are “f*cking devastating. I might have lost the love of my life.” But, as fans already know, Nathan and Gael eventually worked things out. In June 2025, they even became a party of three, following the birth of their first child.

Nathan continues to struggle as bosun

Nathan is having girl problems. But he also has ninety-nine other issues on deck, following his promotion to the bosun position. At the start of Season 10, Captain Sandy Yawn had high hopes for Nathan. But by the end of his first day, her sighs were noticeable.

Granted, Nathan had two very weak links on his team. And once he fired them, things took a sharp upward tick. But now that his buddy Joe Bradley is back, working beside him in one of these vacated positions, Captain Sandy’s worries have also returned. As she recognizes, Nathan and Joe are slacking, and Nathan’s serious face doesn’t always create respectful responses from his deckies.

Nathan’s really lost control,” says Captain Sandy, as various clips filled with safety errors and heated arguments flash by. We then hear Nathan saying, “We don’t do things your way, Max [Salvador], we do them my way.” In response, his deckhand heads to his confessional, admitting, “Nathan is like a bomb that’s about to explode.”

Joe Bradley breaks a promise to Victoria SanJuan

Oh, Joe. Like Kizzi, Joe loves love. Last season, Joe landed himself smack dab in the middle of a sticky love triangle. And this season, he is already teetering on the brink of another.

Victoria SanJuan jumped over to the deck team right before Joe arrived. V was a solid stew. But the deck team really needed her. So, over she went.

V also has a heartbreaking backstory. Her late boyfriend lost his life in a drowning accident. V gets reminded of him and her loss whenever she is working close to the water. But she also wants to grow and make him proud, so her workload as a deckie arrives with fairly complex feelings.

Not helping matters are her feelings for Joe. Joe, for his part, is being honest with V. As he’s stressed, Joe is in his no-strings-attached era. But in the midseason trailer, Joe seemingly changes his mind. “I would like to bring you to where I live,” he tells an excited-looking V.

And then, everything falls apart. “You told me, ‘I’m not gonna do anything physical with any of the girls. I give you my word,” V reminds Joe. The scene then cuts to Joe crying on the deck, saying, “I made a mistake” in a voiceover.

We don’t see which girl Joe hooks up with. However, both Kizzi and Cathy Skinner are the ones implied, so it’s one of these lovely ladies.

Several filler storylines also appear in the midseason trailer. For starters, Cathy reportedly has a “vibe of f*cking around” in the galley, according to a stressed-out Josh Bingham. We then see Cathy, squirting whipped cream into several yachties’ mouths. “I’ve spent all day on these f*ckin’ dishes,” Josh argues, and when called out by Josh, Cathy flippantly responds with a salute.

Meanwhile, several challenging guests are about to piss the Season 10 crew all the way off. “The guests are, like, pressing on us too hard,” Kizzi stresses in her confessional. We then see a bathtub overflowing with bubbles as Kizzi explains, “The crew is starting to bend and break.” In another clip, a female guest tells her fellow travelers, “They’re working for us right now, so they’re going to have to go around our time.”

And finally, for any reason under the sun, the midseason trailer ends with Max trying to scale their docked yacht at night. “I’m going to fall,” he says, right before he falls and lands in the sea. Stay chaotic and unpredictable, Max.

Below Deck Mediterranean is streaming on Peacock.
