David and Victoria Beckham’s Son Cruz Has Driver’s License Revoked After Speeding

Cruz Beckham won’t be going on any joy rides for a while.

The youngest son of David and Victoria Beckham is paying the price for his multiple speeding violations.

He’s been dinged with two speeding tickets, and evidently, his famous name won’t get him out of trouble. The 20-year-old has had his license taken away. This is just the latest in what has been some tumultuous times for Victoria and David’s kids. The oldest Beckham child, Brooklyn, is basically estranged from his famous parents, according to many reports.

The former Arsenal Academy product is married to actress Nicola Peltz.

Losing his freedom to drive has not gone over well with the youngest Beckham son. A source close to his parents told the Daily Mail that he’s “gutted” about this. “It was a couple of speeding tickets, which are so easy to come by these days with 20 MPH zones,” the source continued.

One of the tickets given to Cruz was issued in September. He told his followers on Instagram that he’d been stopped for doing 24 in a 20 zone. Those types of violations were evidently quite popular for police officers in Cruz’s area.

Figures show that nearly 500,000 tickets were given last year to drivers speeding in 20 mph zones. That was two-thirds more than were handed out in the 12 months before that. David and Cruz made headlines over the summer with both spotted wearing Speedo trunks on their yacht during an Italian vacation.

To get his license back, Cruz must complete a few steps. First, he has to reapply for a provisional license before passing a theory and practical driving test.

Cruz is reportedly a car enthusiast. He frequently drives between his family’s West London home and their Cotswolds mansion.

His father, now known as Sir David, got out of trouble in 2018 for driving 59 mph in a 40 mph zone. The former football star avoided prosecution because the speeding notice arrived a day late.
