Kit Harington has confessed that it was “slightly embarrassing” to kiss Sophie Turner while filming for their upcoming film The Dreadful. The pair will reunite in the British gothic film The Dreadful, written and directed by Natasha Kermani.

Kit Harington talks about Sophie Turner kiss moment

Kit Harington has revealed what it was like to kiss his Game of Thrones co-star Sophie Turner for their upcoming film, The Dreadful. In an exclusive interview with E! News, Harington confessed he felt “very odd” playing lovers in the film.

Harington shared, “She was the one that sent that movie to me and somehow didn’t see what I saw in it. I was like, ‘These guys, these are lovers, right?’ I felt very odd about that.”

Furthermore, the 38-year-old actor confessed it was “slightly embarrassing” to film romantic scenes with Turner. The Game of Thrones alum confessed, “It was slightly embarrassing, having to get on an apple box to kiss her because she’s about a foot taller than me.” The actor playfully added, “But other than that, my dignity was pretty intact.”

The Eternals star revealed he was ultimately happy and grateful to share screen space with his former co-star again. Harington remarked, “It was a good chance to be with her again and work together.” He also added that their “friendship completely ignited again.” He added that the experience “felt like being with family.”

In August this year, Turner appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers, where she revealed that she thought Harington was perfect as Jago for The Dreadful. However, they were both apprehensive about filming romantic scenes.

Turner recalled, “He kind of sent me a message back going like, ‘Yeah, I’d love to, but this is going to be really f*****g weird, Soph.’” She continued, “And I was like, ‘What is he talking about?’ And then I was reading it and I’m like, kiss, kiss, sex, kiss, sex, and then I’m like, ‘Oh, shoot, that’s my brother.'”

The Dreadful is a British period gothic film set during the 15th century during the War of the Roses. It stars Marcia Gay Harden, Jonathan Howard, and Laurence O’Fuarain alongside Sophie Turner and Kit Harington. Turner will be portraying the role of Anne, who lives with her mother-in-law on the outskirts of a city. Her life turns upside down when a mysterious figure from her past suddenly re-enters her life.
