This Southern Charm fling was something else. After teasing a romantic relationship all Season 10 long, Jarrett “JT” Thomas and Venita Aspen finally got together. It didn’t last long between them, though. In fact, in between the end of Season 10’s filming and its reunion, they’d already dated and called it quits, which made for quite the entertaining reunion special.
JT claimed that Venita ghosted him, and in response, she pulled out the ultimate receipts (Sorry, Heather Gay). She showed proof that they messaged each other one day before his hard-launch on social media with another woman. Yikes.
Everyone thought that this on-screen riff was the end of their relationship, but Venita is now saying there’s one more event that took place between them.
Venita Aspen said JT Thomas later “fell off the face of the earth”
During the premiere episode of Southern Charm Season 11, Venita introduced a core piece of her relationship storyline with JT. This apparently occurred right after filming the Season 10 reunion.
“After that moment in New York, JT came to my hotel room until about 5:30 a.m.. He was just like, ‘I really want to be with you,’” she revealed in a confessional.
Though, the reality TV star made it clear that while promising, the gesture didn’t lead to anything.
“So, after New York, I was really hoping that JT and I could maybe potentially date. But he blocked me. And he just fell off the face of the earth.”
That seems like a good description of what happened to him. After all, he dropped out of Southern Charm and has moved to Bali for a fresh start in life.
