Kristen Bell & Husband’s Jimmy Kimmel Interview Is ‘PR Coded,’ Fans Claim

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard’s recent appearance on the “Jimmy Kimmel Show” has people talking. Recently, the official YouTube page of the talk show released a 13-minute video from the couple’s episode. While many fans were overjoyed to see the two actors together, a few called the interview “PR coded.” This came after the married pair received backlash last month for their 12th anniversary post on Instagram.

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard make joint couple appearance on Jimmy Kimmel show

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard made a joint appearance on the “Jimmy Kimmel Show” to discuss various topics. Most importantly, they were on the talk show to promote their 2012 hit, “Hit and Run,” which was recently released on Netflix. However, their interview didn’t sit well with a few viewers.

The official YouTube page for “Jimmy Kimmel Live” released a 13-minute clip featuring Bell and Shepard. In the comment section, many praised the couple, but some called it a “PR” move. One user wrote, “The timing for a couple interview is so pr coded.” In it, the person is reportedly referring to the celebrity pair’s anniversary controversy.

Last month, the two celebrated their 12th anniversary. Bell posted a photo of her husband hugging her while they sat on their bed. In the caption, she mentioned, “Happy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me: ‘I would never kill you. A lot of men have killed their wives at a certain point. Even though I’m heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would.’”

The quoted lines, which the “Good Place” alum wrote, were from Shepard, and they were not well received by netizens. Reportedly, it was Domestic Violence Awareness Month, which was why things escalated. Despite the backlash, the duo remained silent about the situation. So, their recent appearance on the talk show has raised eyebrows.

On the YouTube video, one viewer commented, “Them doing PR couple control after all the weird “quirky” stuff they said caught headlines.” Another wrote, “This whole interview together is so obviously PR damage control.”
