According to RadarOnline.com, Justin Timberlake is feeling sorry for Britney Spears following accusations in Kevin Federline‘s memoir. An insider stated the NSYNC alum “thinks it’s despicable that Kevin’s hitting her with all these terrible insults and sleazy revelations about their time together while she’s at low ebb.” Moreover, reportedly, “He’s not especially close with her these days.” The individual further added how “it didn’t go down well when she went into detail about their broken romance.”
However, Timberlake allegedly “still got a soft spot and a lot of sympathy for her.””Seeing her suffer makes him sad,” the insider continued. For the unaware, Federline also opened up about Spears talking to Timberlake the night before their wedding. In an interview, the dancer shared that he and the pop icon were at one of the bungalows at Fairmont in Santa Monica. This is when he saw his soon-to-be bride speaking to someone on a call.
Federline stated, “I was like, ‘What’s wrong?.” He added that he “thought she was talking to her mom on the phone or something, and maybe she was having doubts.” Further, the DJ mentioned that Spears told him that she was talking to Timberlake. Federline further explained, “And I just kind of stepped back like ‘Did I just hear you right? What the hell is going on? He continued that he didn’t want the “Toxic” singer to feel any pressure, but Spears clarified that wasn’t the case.
Federline added that Spears told him she “just wanted to make sure that everything is done”. Moreover, she wanted to give her “final piece” to her former boyfriend. However, the artist was shocked that the pop icon would do this the night before their marriage. He expressed, “So I kind of at the time took it with a grain of salt and took her explanation as maybe okay she is closing a chapter of her life.”
