Ryan Murphy’s new FX series The Beauty has a growing cast
Victoria’s Secret model, Bella, is about to star alongside some major industry names for the upcoming FX series, The Beauty. Evan Peters, Ashton Kutcher, Jeremy Pope, Amelia Gray Hamlin, Isabella Rossellini, Meghan Trainor, and Nicola Peltz Beckham are just a few (and we mean a small few) of the celebrities already confirmed for Ryan’s new show.
“The Beauty centers around a sexually-transmitted disease that makes its carriers beautiful,” a synopsis from The Wrap reads. But, there’s a catch! Those with the disease end up “suffering gruesome deaths.” This, perhaps unsurprisingly, sends “the world of high fashion into crisis mode.”
The new show is based on the comic book series by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley, and was written and created by Ryan alongside Matthew Hodgson. Fans of American Horror Story, All’s Fair, and The Watcher will already be familiar with Ryan’s work and ready to tune in when The Beauty debuts.
Speaking of which, the first three episodes will air on FX and Hulu in the US on January 21st 2026. For those tuning in internationally, Disney+ will be your destination. Subsequent episodes of the 11-part series will air on Wednesdays, and in the show’s final two weeks, we’ll get two episode drops.
“Give us the trailer,” one eager fan said on Instagram of The Beauty’s release. “I’m excited,” commented another, as a third drew parallels with one of last year’s body horror hits: “Inspired by The Substance?”
