Sydney Sweeney just channelled Old Hollywood glam in the most, well, glamorous way possible. Walking the red carpet at the New York screening of her latest movie, The Housemaid, Sydney wore a custom Miu Miu gown.

Alongside her co-star Amanda Seyfried, Sydney gave fans (and critics) something new to talk about as she stepped out in a glistening Miu Miu gown. Complete with a feather boa, the dazzling dress featured a plunging neckline, cinched waist, and a floor-skimming train. Oh, and did we mention all those eye-catching crystals?
The Euphoria star finished her look with a pair of chunky heels, her signature bouncing blonde locks, and a rose-toned blush with a pale pink lip.
On Instagram, a video of the memorable look quickly racked up hundreds of thousands of likes. And plenty of comments, too. “YOU LOOK LIKE A PRINCESS,” one person exclaimed. “She’s here to break the internet once again,” someone else said, as a third fan commented: “Very aesthetic and beautiful.”
Sydney’s showstopping outfit comes after months of criticism surrounding the actor. Earlier this year, she received backlash for a controversial American Eagle campaign she starred in, followed by more backlash for her response. Off the back of that, her much-anticipated boxing biopic – Christy – tanked at the box office.
So far, a number of celebrities have called Sydney out, including Ruby Rose, Aimee Lou Wood, and SZA. As a result, fans questioned whether Sydney’s The Housemaid co-star, Amanda, would do press with her for the new movie. But, if these latest photos are anything to go by, there was no need for concern.
