Southern Charm alum Olivia Flowers recently called off her engagement. She and her fiancé, Alex Williams, were supposed to tie the knot last month. But before they walked down the aisle, headlines formed, announcing the end of their engagement. Now Olivia is finally ready to move forward, and in doing so, she has a few takeaway thoughts and notes to share.

On Instagram, Olivia just posted a selfie. In her image, Olivia is sitting on her couch, which is resting high above her city. On her face is a relaxed smile. And within her caption, Olivia noted several key takeaway thoughts, each detailing her broken engagement to Alex.
“Well, November wasn’t the month I pictured… but it was still a special one thanks to these beautiful people,” she penned. As for her “takeaways,” Olivia stressed, “Your support system is everything.” She next reminded her followers, “You can take a beat for yourself.” But it was her next takeaway that caught our eyes the hardest.
“You can call off a wedding without calling off a relationship,” Olivia quipped. Now, when she and Alex called off their engagement, they released a statement that similarly implied they were still together. “Alex and Olivia remain committed to each other with a renewed sense of clarity, strength, and appreciation for honoring one’s heart,” their statement read. So, it looks like their story still has several chapters left, but as for their wedding gifts, well, that’s a different issue.
“Returning Registry gifts builds character,” Olivia penned, bringing her post to an end.
