Charlie Sheen shares two children with his ex-wife, Brooke Mueller. However, Charlie hasn’t shared his finances, according to Brooke. So now, Brooke is using the court system to collect an estimated $15 million in child support from her ex.
Brooke Mueller wants the full amount paid within 30 days
TMZ recently shared their findings, which detailed Brooke’s latest court filing in LA. County. As she noted, Charlie owes her $8,967,600 in child support. He also owes her another check totaling $6,418,643 in accrued interest. If Charlie wishes to satisfy this demand, he must move quickly, because Brooke has requested payment within the next 30 days.
In 2010, Charlie started paying Brooke $55,000 per month in child support, which the courts deemed fit. But one year later, Charlie reportedly started sending partial payments, if any at all. So now, Brook wants a judge to force his hand. And while they’re at it, she wants another $25,000 thrown in to help cover her attorney fees and costs.
Charlie and Brooke tied the knot in 2008, only to divorce in 2011. Their twins were born in 2009 and are currently 16 years old. Brooke and Charlie share joint legal custody of their sons, but this arrangement is contingent on Brooke’s sobriety.
As Brooke told People, she classifies herself as a “stage four” addict. She relapsed in 2023, which affected her relationship with their boys. Putting her feelings and addictions into words, Brook stressed, “You finally gained the trust and the respect, and the kids are getting dropped off in your care, and then [you are] constantly throwing it all away, not even knowing why or how, because you weren’t planning on it.”
Thankfully, Charlie has always been her “first call for help,” because “He gets it. He’s always there to help me and pick up the pieces.”
