Meghan Markle has reportedly received a label from a holiday-special display, and it is rather humiliating. The Duchess of Sussex has allegedly been dubbed as “villain of the year.” The naming reportedly took place at a high-end store, Kitson’s Christmas-special window display in LA. She has allegedly been featured in a scathing display of “holiday hypocrites.” The popular fashion retailer store is on Robertson Blvd, located between Beverly Hills and West Hollywood.
Meghan Markle reportedly branded ‘villain’ and ‘hypocrite’ in Kitson display
Meghan Markle has reportedly garnered some pretty harsh names from a well-known Los Angeles boutique, Kitson. It was part of the high-end fashion store’s “Holiday hypocrisy window display.” It has now become quite famous in LA, ever since it started in 2020. The Duchess of Sussex has been placed in the list of “villains” for 2025. Besides her, the list also includes George Clooney, California Governor Gavin Newsom and Katy Perry.
The Kitson LA display reportedly showed Meghan Markle in a mocked-up Christmasy magazine cover. A Santa hat had been added to her head in the display. The text written on the hat read another scathing name, “Montecito diva.” The Duchess of Sussex’s photo further featured some news headlines. The list allegedly included headlines saying that she and her husband, Prince Harry, are “disliked by Americans.” It also displayed that they received the label of “most unpopular kids in school.”
In the meantime, another news headline in the Kitson LA display reportedly read, “Meghan Markle defies ‘no dogs’ rule at farmers’ market in Montecito.” Meanwhile, other headlines made comments on the Duchess of Sussex’s “homemade” jam, her staff members, her fashion choices and more.
This is not the first time that the store has aimed at the royal family members. After Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left the royal palace, the store intrigued customers to pick sides among the royals. Fraser Ross, the owner of Kitson, reportedly said to the Daily Mail, “It started out with customers asking us if we had anything related to the young royals.” “They would go on to say why they favoured one couple over the other,” added the owner.
