2025 has been a huge year for Dylan Efron. In January, he exploded onto our screens in The Traitors Season 3. At the time, we only knew him as Zac Efron’s younger brother. By the end of the season, he won the show and everyone’s hearts.
Since then, Dylan shimmied his way to the Dancing with the Stars finale. Plus, he goes viral at least twice a week with his thirst trap pics. So, how does Dylan decide to wrap up his incredible year?
By revealing that his first name really isn’t actually Dylan.
Dylan Efron shocked fans with his first name admission
Over the last week, Dylan has been making the rounds on a press tour. He’s promoting his new YouTube series, Everything’s a Competition, which he stars alongside his Traitors bestie, Boston Rob Mariano.
The two popped up on E!’s Hot Goss, and that’s where Dylan made the shocking admission that he doesn’t use his given first name. His full name from birth is Nicholas Dylan Harrison Efron. He said he “axed off” his first name altogether.
“That’s my first name, and everything gets bumped up,” Dylan explained.
That news wasn’t just a surprise to fans. It also seemed to be new information for Boston Rob. He processed the news in real time and had a hard time believing it. What’s next? Are they going to tell us that Zac’s real name is Thomas or something?
“Nobody ever heard of that. He’s never told anybody,” Boston Rob quipped. “I don’t even think that’s true.”
Apparently, it is true. Dylan has secretly been Nick this whole time. It’s a little mind-boggling, but either way, those ab pics still hit the same.
