Season 7 of Love Island USA delivered plenty of drama. However, its tally for actual love connections was pretty low. There were plenty of scandals, and two contestants were removed from the villa. And let’s not forget that a viral “Mamacita” moment was born.
Meanwhile, fans were disappointed to learn that Season 7 winners Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales decided to call it quits shortly after the reunion. Plus, finalists Pepe Garcia and Iris Kendall also called time on their budding relationship.

Chelley Bissainthe and Ace Greene have split after Love Island USA Season 7
Recently, Chelley Bissainthe was a guest on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio. Of course, she was asked all about her relationship with Ace Greene. Ace was a controversial figure in Love Island USA, with some fans believing that he was trying to control everyone.
However, after dating other people, the two finally found their way to each other and left the island as a couple. When asked if they were moving in together, Chelley dropped a bombshell (pun intended).
“So, Ace and I actually decided to part ways,” she stated. “I mean, it really was a tough decision for the both of us and very hard to decide, but, you know, when you love someone, sometimes loving someone means letting go.” Chelley added, “So, I think we just got to that decision.”
When asked what went wrong between the duo, Chelley took the high road. She responded, “You know, I think out of respect for the both of us, the details aren’t really necessary. You know, like I think we can be peaceful and just understand that, you know, we’re good with being able to be on the same page.”
The former Islander added that she and Ace have “a mutual level of respect and understanding that, you know, we wanted this to work, but sometimes things don’t work.”
