Gia Giudice is breaking a holiday tradition this year. Normally, the Next Gen NYC star ends at holiday season with her father, Joe Giudice. But this year, she won’t be going to his Caribbean home for her year-end getaway, opting for a more laid-back celebration at home.
Gia Giudice says “work has been really crazy”
Gia shared that she wouldn’t be visiting her dad, Joe, during her December 8 Amazon Live Stream. But it’s not because of any drama or issues between father and daughter. The truth is, Gia’s crazy schedule and workload have made it really difficult for her to travel this holiday. She’s postponed her trip to the Bahamas to early 2026.
“Honestly, work has just been really crazy,” Gia shared. “I am planning to visit him in January once work slows down a little bit.”
She has certainly been on the go all year and has reached numerous milestones in her career. She serves as a full-time cast member on Bravo’s breakout hit Next Gen NYC, which is gearing up for its sophomore season. Gia also recently won the reality competition Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
Plus, Gia has remained a host for podcasts Casual Chaos and Dirty Rush and inked a deal with talent agency CCA. She recently moved out of her mom, Teresa Giudice’s, home and into her own place in New Jersey. And she’s hit 1 million followers online, too.
She captioned her celebratory post saying, “Beyond blessed and so incredibly grateful for all of you! Celebrating one million on Instagram feels like an absolute dream. I never imagined I’d be here in this moment, and it’s all thanks to every single one of you. ”
The photos featured Gia in her new place, where her boyfriend, Christian Carmichael, surprised her with a cake, balloons, and espresso martinis.
So much has happened in 2025. So for the holidays, Gia told viewers she wanted to keep the festivities low-key. This is a first for her, and she admitted it was “kind of crazy.”
“Honestly, I’m just kinda laying low,” Gia explained. “Just staying home and figuring out what I want to do for New Year’s. So, that is on the list.”
For now, Gia is enjoying her family’s newfound peace. She’ll spend time with her dad in the new year.
Next Gen NYC is streaming on Peacock.
