Is Prince Harry plotting a return to Blighty? Royal insiders have been hinting that the Duke is keen to move back to his home country in recent months. Now, a recent development in royal protocol could be a pretty big clue that he’s ready to head back.
A source claims “inevitable tension” between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would be present

Harry has been pretty open about his desire to spend more time in the UK. But he has previously said that the lack of state-funded security prevents him from bringing his family over.
Well, that hurdle may soon be a thing of the past. According to insiders, the Home Office is currently conducting a threat assessment for the wayward prince, per Radar Online.
Harry and his family had their government-funded security removed in 2020 after stepping down from royal duties. The Duke hasn’t exactly been shy about criticizing the decision, calling it a “good old-fashioned establishment stitch-up.”
This new threat assessment could mean his armed security is set to be reinstated – presumably making it easier for Harry to consider returning to the UK.
A palace insider told Radar: “This is the clearest sign yet that Harry is preparing the ground for spending far more time in Britain, possibly even basing himself here.” We hear Royal Lodge will be free soon…
One person who is apparently unlikely to be thrilled about moving back to the land of baked beans is Meghan Markle. The source added that the potential move “would bring inevitable tension with Meghan, who has built a life in California and has little appetite for a return. People close to them know it could strain the marriage in ways that may be impossible to reverse. In short, it could bust them up forever.”
