Southern Charm’s Shep Rose Reveals His Reunion Secret

Craig Conover and Austen Kroll had better mind their manners when they’re around their buddy Shep Rose. He’s taking notes on things he might want to bring up at the Southern Charm reunion.

We’re only a few weeks into Season 11, but Shep’s already making plans for the reunion. “I prep all the time,” he said in a recent interview. “If I think of something, I write it down. So, I’ve got paragraphs of things. Some thoughts.”

Shep is so organized, he recently told The Daily Dish, “I have a Season 11 reunion tab.” Though he didn’t want to give too much away, he admitted that this “tab” includes a few notes on any exchanges he thinks might come up for discussion later, especially anything involving his pals Craig or Austen.

Basically, Shep started taking notes after an evening with his friends at a restaurant in Charleston. When Craig heard that Shep was working with the restaurant, he reached out and asked if he could come along, too.

“I was like, ‘Oh, cool,'” Shep recalled. Wanting to make it a real buddies night, Shep also invited Austen. Although the Sewing Down South founder was initially cool with Austen, things heated up once the two came face to face.

Austen and Craig have been a little spicy with each other this season. Craig thinks Austen takes his girlfriend for granted, while Craig’s pining for his ex, Paige DeSorbo and wants nothing more than to have a girlfriend again.

The two longtime pals have a lot of history with each other and have experienced their fair share of drama over the years. They’ve fought over everything from their Pillows and Beer podcast to their different lifestyle choices.

At Whitner Slagsvol’s birthday party, Craig told Austen, “You’re living a lie! You’re stuck in a relationship, [but] you’re not happy … You told me that you were jealous I was single.”

Meanwhile, once they all got together, Shep said it turned into “the Craig and Austen show. The entire dinner, I barely said a word. I was just, like, good grief — these two.”

Southern Charm airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
