A video of Tylor Chase, a former Nickelodeon star, surfaced showing him looking disheveled and homeless in Riverside, California. Fans and former co stars voiced concern over his appearance and behavior in the distressing video.
The former child star played Martin Qwerly in the children’s TV hit Ned’s Declassified. The show ran on Nickelodeon from 2004 to 2007.
Tylor Chase appeared in a heartbreaking viral video

According to RadarOnline, the video was recorded this past September by an unidentified woman. After recognizing him, she asked if he starred on the Disney Channel when he was young. He corrected her saying he was Tylor Chase from Nickelodeon’s Ned’s Declassified. The woman behind the camera responded, “Oh yeah, you’re that kid on it.”
Along with his fans, Tylor’s former co-stars expressed sadness and worry for the former star after seeing the video.
Tylor’s co-stars Devon Werkheiser, Daniel Curtis Lee and Lindsey Shaw discussed the video on an episode of the Ned’s Declassified Podcast Survival Guide. “There was some bad news that I received earlier this week about our dear friend Tylor Chase. It was a lot to process for me,” Daniel said, calling the video “scary. When I first saw it, I was angry, because I was like, why put a camera on someone’s face in hard times?” he added. “But then I was upset with myself because I feel powerless because there’s not much that I felt I could do.” He doesn’t blame the woman who posted the video.
Daniel added he was in denial and “didn’t want to believe” what he saw in the video. “I didn’t want to believe it at first, I was like, oh, they just caught him at a bad time. But then I saw some other videos, and it looks like a brother is going through some stuff,” he said. “I fully believe that he can recover, but that’s also wishful thinking from me.”
Former Mighty Ducks star Shaun Weiss, who came back from addiction and homelessness, wants to pay it forward. According to TMZ, he has a bed for Tylor at Eleven 11 Recovery in San Clemente, California, where he works. Shaun invited Tylor to enroll in the rehab’s sober living program on a scholarship.
