The Valley’s Danny Booko Has Disney and Nickelodeon Past: From Hannah Montana to iCarly

Danny Booko just landed a gig on The Valley. So far, this David Boreanaz lookalike is coming across pretty darn well. That’s not hard to do though, because with costars like his, it’s easy to appear rational and calm. Jax Taylor could never…

When he’s not golfing with messy men, or pulling his pants back up at his numbnut neighbor’s house, Danny’s likely thanking his lucky stars for his wife, Nia Booko. She’s a former Miss USA winner, which is bragging rights times 10. This gorgeous couple works hard, trying to keep three children, all under the age of two, alive. Amy DeVore could never…

In addition to all of this, Danny’s got an incredibly fascinating career, working as an actor, model, and voiceover talent. To date, his name’s been attached to some seriously huge projects, which we saw a glimpse of in the premiere. This made me immediately Google the man because he just seemed beyond familiar, and after reading his IMDb, it all clicked; this guy is one of the faces behind my youth. From Disney to Nickelodeon, here’s a brief overview of Danny’s past and present gigs.

Who did Daniel Booko play in Hannah Montana?

Danny guest starred on Disney’s Hannah Montana in Season 1 Episode 21. Here, he played a guy named Stavros, in an episode titled “My Boyfriend’s Jackson and There’s Gonna Be Trouble.” Anyone else just sing “My Boyfriend’s Back” by The Angels? No, Amy, go back to your nursing home.

In this episode, a paparazzi snapped a shot of the two main characters, Hannah and Jackson, and when the image went live, it appeared as if these two were a couple. Cue Jackson, taking advantage of “dating” a star for the perks. In his role, Danny, aka Stavros, appeared here and there, and his vibe was very celebrity bad boy. His main storyline saw him giving Hannah’s brother tips, helping him to cash in as an influencer since his sister was a star.

I hope Danny remembers those tips. Now that he’s got a massive platform like Bravo backing him, he too can hawk ads for a quick payday online. However, his resume is pretty stacked, so he’s likely financially stable. You’re safe, Kevin’s Natural Foods, as Danny won’t be posting you up like Jax did, looking for a sponsorship.

Which other Disney Channel and Nickelodeon shows was Danny in?

Hannah Montana isn’t the only Disney series Danny’s worked on. In fact, Danny lent his voice to Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks. I can’t take one for the team and listen to this for anyone. Those high-pitched squeals are grating, and I have zero nerves left to spare at the moment.

Happily moving on, in addition to his Disney gigs, Danny also guest-starred on several Nickelodeon series. My personal favorite was when he played a super chiseled and hot, albeit dumb, intern over on iCarly. The girls loved his abs and his face, while Freddie, a male known for his brains, got ignored, and shoved into the background. It gave excellent teenage angst notes, and Danny nailed his role.

Danny’s also scored bit parts in Disney’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Deadpool, X-Men, and Drake and Josh. Likewise, his voice can also be heard on Disney’s Ice Age.

As an aside, I wonder what Danny thinks, or even knows, about the Sickelodeon claims that have been circulating. Hey Andy Cohen, can you ask Danny about this at the reunion?

Danny now works as a voiceover artist

The Valley’s premiere was messy, in the best way possible. Honestly, I truly believe that Danny and Jason Caperna will be the only likable male stars at the end. You see, in the premiere, Jax grossly quipped about Kristen Doute‘s desires to have a child, which is wrong, as he’s her long-standing friend, and also, it’s none of his business. Likewise, Jesse Lally gave off equally appalling Jax-like vibes, which, ugh.

My verdict on Luke Broderick is still undecided, for the record.

However, the premiere did offer us one fun little Danny nugget. In a studio scene, Danny turned his voice into a zombie, and his vocals were spot-on. He growled and hissed, and his hands turned into talons. It transported us all to The Walking Dead, which is a good thing because that’s the series that had hired him.

While we already know that Danny’s lent his voice to Disney and Nickelodeon, in addition to The Walking Dead franchise, according to his resume, he’s got a lot of other roles that he could also be boasting about. He should. Jax would.

These voiceover bits include Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Obliterated, Ghosted, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and literally SO much more. It appears as if Danny’s moving more towards voiceover roles these days. I can understand this, as he’s likely not sleeping much, with his brood of babies at home. Therefore, roles that do not require a well-rested face are vital.

Take your shirt off and keep moving forward Danny, we’re rooting for you.
