Months after leaving the Big Brother house, Season 27 contestant Mickey Lee has been hospitalized. Her family shared the news online, revealing that she remains in critical condition following a series of cardiac arrests. Here’s what we know so far.
A GoFundMe has been launched for BB27’s Mickey Lee
According to details shared on GoFundMe, Mickey suffered a “sudden health crisis” that has left her family both emotionally and financially overwhelmed. The fundraiser was created to help cover mounting expenses related to her medical care and recovery.
The organizer wrote, “Mickey recently suffered a series of cardiac arrests and is now in the ICU in critical but stable condition. She has been surrounded by medical professionals and loved ones, but the road ahead will be long and challenging.”
In addition to medical bills not covered by insurance, the GoFundMe is seeking support for rehabilitation costs, lodging, specialist care, and travel expenses for family members who will be staying by her side throughout her recovery.
“Every donation no matter the size will go directly to Mickey’s care and help ease the burden on her loved ones during this difficult time,” the page noted.
Mickey competed on Season 27 of Big Brother, becoming a member of the melting pot alliance. That eventually fell apart, but Mickey made it to Week 8. She was evicted in the September 4 episode. Now, fans are rallying around her, hoping the Big Brother community can come together in her time of need.
“Mickey has touched so many lives through her courage, bold personality, and unforgettable presence on Big Brother,” the organizer added. “Let’s show her the same love and support now when she needs it most.”
