The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul may have been a surprising pick for the next Bachelorette. However, the MomTok star has a solid fan base, making her casting a no-brainer. And her split from baby daddy Dakota Mortensen during Season 3 of SLOMW paved the way for Taylor’s search for love.
Of course, Taylor is divorced from Tate Paul, and the former couple shares two children. So, going into the dating show, Taylor had three little ones to consider as she looked for Mr. Right. Unfortunately, we will have to wait until March to find out if she was successful.
Taylor Frankie Paul is excited for fans to watch her season
Taylor previously shared her excitement while filming The Bachelorette. In an Instagram Story from December 11, Taylor wrote, “Teaser: Last night was one of the BEST nights of my life. Can’t wait to talk about [it] in like six months LMAFO [sic].”
Recently, Taylor shared an Instagram post announcing that the show had wrapped. The carousel of photos included her in a sparkling gold gown in front of her rose podium, and hanging out with the crew. “And that’s a wrap. Never experienced anything like this,” she wrote in the caption. “Can’t wait to talk all about it, share it, show it. Such a passion for what goes into something like this. Feeling so grateful to be part of the bachelor nation family and crew.” She added, “I left the most ‘me’ picture for last. This will be worth the wait, stay tuned coming in March.” The final photo pictured Taylor, sitting in a chair, cheerfully flipping off the camera.
And in another Instagram post, Taylor was sporting a gown. The words on the photo read, “Me reading all the assumptions of what happened and can’t speak a word on it.” In the caption, she wrote, “Let’s just say, I myself was shocked.”
Meanwhile, her ex, Dakota, whom Taylor didn’t tell that she was becoming the next Bachelorette, wasn’t thrilled with her decision.
The Bachelorette Season 22 premieres on March 22, 2026, on ABC.
