Cher has never been afraid to speak her mind. The Grammy Award-winning singer is infamous for her quips. From her silly posts on X, formerly Twitter, to her much-loved interviews, she’s far from shy. Not only is she famous for her commentary and singing, but she is also an acclaimed actress.
In 2010, she starred in the popular film Burlesque with fellow stars such as Christina Aguilera and Stanley Tucci. Performing along with Cher and company was Kristen Bell.
Recently, the former co-stars reunited for a conversation with Dax Shepard on his Armchair Expert podcast. During the chat, Cher did not hold back her true feelings about Kristen’s marriage.
Cher thinks Kristin can do better than Dax Shepard
Cher sat down with Kristen and Dax in an episode of Armchair Expert released on January 5. They covered several topics. From Cher’s memoir to her exciting acting career, the conversation was fun. However, it switched on Dax when Cher shared her true feelings about his marriage to Kristen.
It seems that Cher’s belief that Kristen could do better than her famous husband is common knowledge. While she shared she was thrilled that Kristen found her happily ever after, she thinks there was someone better out there for Kristen.
“Who would be your dream partner for her?” Dax asked the Believe singer. “‘Cause I know you think she could be better, and I don’t disagree.”
“The truth is, I trust her,” said Cher. She then made the hilarious jab, “So, you must have something that I don’t see.” She did follow that one up with a sweet compliment, “And you seem like a good dad.”
Dax and Kristen have been married for 12 years and share two daughters, Lincoln and Delta. “There’s a lot to this man,” Kristen defended her husband. “Trust me, he’s a slow burn, but you’re gonna learn to love him. He’s almost too good for me.”
