You’d think that once three of Kody Brown’s four wives had moved on, tensions in the family would lessen. Unfortunately, the Sister Wives patriarch is still involved in the chaos.
In a preview of the upcoming Sister Wives One-on-One Special, accusations are flying. Robyn Brown believes that Kody and Janelle Brown schemed behind Meri Brown’s back to sell their jointly-owned Coyote Pass property.
While Robyn is upset about the subterfuge, Janelle insists, “There was no backdoor deal.” Janelle claims she never suggested to her ex that they should sell the property behind anyone’s back. But Kody is adamant that Janelle was the mastermind of the plan.

“Janelle plays me all the time, because I loved her and might still,” Kody tells host Sukanya Krishnan. “I want her approval.”
But then he references Janelle’s sometimes negative comments about his and Robyn’s marriage. “What is it, Janelle? Am I Robyn’s puppet or is she mine?” Kody jokes.
Even though she wasn’t involved in the Coyote Pass drama, Christine Brown chimes in that the whole fiasco is “a perfect example of why our family broke apart.” Christine was the first of Kody’s wives to leave him in 2021 and has since remarried.
Moving on, Sukanya asked Robyn if she understands why “Meri could have a right to distrust you?” Robyn fires back with, “No! She was having a conversation online!”
Of course, Robyn was talking about Meri’s 2015 catfishing scandal, which followed her legal divorce from Kody. At the time, Meri stepped aside so Kody could marry Robyn and legally adopt her three children. Feeling ignored and unloved, Meri became involved with a person online who she thought was a man but turned out to be a woman. Making matters worse, Robyn spread rumors that Meri had had a physical relationship, which Meri denied.
That tea is ten years old, Robyn. Stop pretending to be Meri’s friend and let it go.
All this drama is only the tip of the iceberg, as producers had enough to fill four episodes. Get your popcorn ready, but please try to restrain yourself from throwing it at your TV.
