Nicole Kidman appeared relaxed and carefree as she spent the holidays in Australia with her two teenage daughters, Faith and Sunday. The Oscar-winning actress kept her look simple, letting her hair fall into natural curls as she smiled at holiday gatherings and spent time with family. Meanwhile, sources say life looks very different for her estranged husband, Keith Urban. According to insiders, the country star is grappling not only with the emotional fallout of the split but also with the growing financial strain that comes with it.

Keith Urban’s divorce with Nicole Kidman is getting expensive, claims source

Under the couple’s reported custody agreement, Nicole Kidman serves as the primary residential parent to their daughters, Faith, 14, and Sunday, 17. The arrangement allows Kidman to spend approximately 306 days a year with the girls, while Urban is granted just 59 days annually, with holidays alternating between the parents.

An insider told Star that the reality of the custody split has hit Urban hard. “He’s hurting, and there are some serious regrets starting to kick in,” the source said. “He misses the kids terribly, and he’s finding it tough to deal with the harsh reality that his family is blown up,” they added.

Beyond the emotional toll, the financial impact of the divorce is reportedly significant. While the former couple is said to be keeping the proceedings as amicable as possible, insiders claim the costs are quickly adding up for Urban. “Even if he and Nicole are keeping the divorce as amicable as possible, he’s plowing through a fortune”, the source explained.

Kidman filed for divorce from Keith Urban on September 30, amid reports that he has moved on. The court documents shed light on the former couple’s substantial finances, which state that neither party will pay alimony or spousal support, nor will they provide child support to the other.
