The rumors around Meghan Markle‘s cookbook are swirling again as 2026 plans take shape. The Duchess of Sussex is reportedly turning recipes from “With Love, Meghan” into a recipe book. For now, it is framed as food and hosting, not royal memoir drama. That matters because tensions between Markle and the royal family still fuel headlines. Yet, this rollout is being pitched as a safer lane for her brand. It also signals a lifestyle push, not a palace fight.
Source reveals what to expect from Meghan Markle’s 2026 cookbook
As per a Daily Mail report, an insider said Meghan Markle’s book will do “no harm.” The person claimed the duchess is not writing a tell-all autobiography, adding, “Meghan is looking at a cookbook for early 2026 and there will be more lifestyle products coming in the spring.”
The report said Markle’s cookbook may blend show recipes with home favorites. It cited “single skillet spaghetti” and “rainbow-themed fruit salad.” It also said readers can expect “tips and tricks” for hosting at home. Another insider added, “2026 is looking like another big year for her… But she will ease off selling her biscuit and crepe kits.”
Markle has entered the cookbook world before, in a community setting. After the Grenfell fire, she wrote a foreword for “Together: Our Community Cookbook.” Former royal butler Grant Harrold weighed in: “I believe Meghan will write a book in 2026, however I don’t think it will be the memoir many of her fans are hoping for.” He continued, “I think we’ll likely see something that fits with her new lifestyle branding, maybe a cookbook or a written version of her Netflix show sharing tips and tricks.”
Meanwhile, the report stated Netflix is holding off on major retail moves. The source said, “They [Netflix] are monitoring the Christmas show to see if it picks up, before they do any proper pop-ups or experiences.” For now, the royal family watchers may see Markle’s cookbook as lower-stakes. Still, if the rollout scales, that attention will follow.
