If, like us, you’ve missed seeing Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams on screen since Heated Rivalry came to an end, then listen up. The much-loved actors have just been confirmed for an exciting new role … which they’ll take on this weekend!
Connor and Hudson will present at the Golden Globes 2026
Heated Rivalry’s Connor and Hudson will present an award at Sunday’s 2026 Golden Globe Awards, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It will mark the pair’s first appearance at an awards ceremony since the release of the hockey show, which quickly catapulted them to new levels of fame.
The series, based on Rachel Reid’s novel, follows the enemies-to-lovers romance between two hockey captains. It premiered in November on Crave in Canada and HBO Max in the US and Australia. Since then, the stars of Heated Rivalry have been in hot demand. Hudson, for example, is set to appear on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon later today (January 7). And, Connor is set to follow suit. He’ll be on Late Night with Seth Meyers next week.
There’s been plenty of praise for the stars and the show itself on socials, too. “They really put the heat in Heated Rivalry,” one person said on X, formerly Twitter. “Being a heated rivalry fan has been one of the most fruitful fandom experiences of my life,” said someone else.
Fans also had a lot to say about Connor and Hudson presenting at the Golden Globes. “Plot twist: they’re the main event now,” a fan said on X. “HUDCON NATION RISE,” wrote someone else.
Yet another Heated Rivalry viewer chimed in, posting: “I love this for us!! I love this for them!!”
Heated Rivalry has (thankfully!) already been renewed for a second season by Crave. HBO Max has also confirmed it will air the series when it returns.
