Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are officially done with the divorce paperwork, according to a new report. The “Babygirl” actress and the country star have finalized their separation. It also includes a clear financial decision regarding their daughters.
The settlement follows Kidman and Urban’s announcement of their September 2025 split. Since then, the focus has shifted to custody structure and stability. Now, court-filed terms lay out how the former couple will co-parent.

As per a People report dated January 6, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban finalized their divorce through a settlement filed Tuesday. The report mentioned Kidman filed about three months earlier, citing irreconcilable differences. It also said both agreed to waive child and spousal support. Additionally, each is responsible for their own legal fees.
The agreement also sets a tone for co-parenting Faith, 15, and Sunday, 17. It states both parents must “behave with each other and each child so as to provide a loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship with the child even though they are divorced.”
The deal also adds, “They will not speak badly of each other or the members of the family of the other parent.” It continues, “They will encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families.”
The report also detailed how time is divided. Kidman’s home is listed as the primary residence. The custody breakdown gives her 306 days a year. Meanwhile, Urban is granted 59 days a year. Their daughters can also spend every other weekend with him, from 10 a.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Sunday. However, both parents share major decision-making responsibilities.
The outlet also revisited the split context. A source previously told the outlet, “Nicole’s sister [Antonia] has been a rock and the entire Kidman family has come together to support one another.” The same person added, “She didn’t want this.” They also said, “She has been fighting to save the marriage.”
Later, another insider described the family dynamic, saying, “Their daughters live with Nicole, but spend as much time with Keith as they want.” The person added, “There is no drama.”
