Danny underwent his vasectomy. Meanwhile, Lala marked two emotional milestones. And Janet and Kristen remained at odds. Maybe it’s time to give up on this friendship.

Jasmine searches for her wedding dress in The Valley

After Nia and Danny returned from Mexico, they dissected his disastrous birthday dinner. In his talking head, Danny noted that the constant attacks were “stressful. ”And as Nia was prepping to judge Miss USA, she was anxious about her post-partum appearance. “You’re a size perfect,” Danny told his wife. Aww.

Meanwhile, Jasmine and her mom, Karen, arrived at a boutique to try on wedding dresses. And Brittany and Zack were waiting. “There’s so many, like, feelings and emotions happening,” Jasmine said in her talking head. “It’s starting to hit me, like ‘Okay. I’m getting married.’”

In his confessional, Zack said, “I have been there with Jasmine since, you know, forever. It just is the most amazing feeling to see your best friend be so in love.”

After a few lackluster choices, a strapless, all lace dress with long sleeves impressed the group. “Your body looks awesome!” Brittany exclaimed. Once the veil was clipped in her hair, Jasmine started to cry. “I didn’t think I was going to look, like, pretty. But I look really pretty,” she said as she looked at herself in a mirror.

Then, Jasmine reflected on how emotional her mother was. “The fact that she is accepting me and Melissa, I’m just so thankful,” the bride-to-be said. “I’m just so happy that I get to experience this moment with her.”

Elsewhere, Kristen wanted to discuss why Luke was having concerns about marrying her. Luke admitted that being new parents “throws a wrench in things. It just feels a lot different than it did when I proposed.” Kristen reassured her man that these changes were “temporary” and they were “in the thick of it.” Although the couple started therapy, Luke stressed, “I just think we need to get our footing before we start planning a wedding.”

Kristen responded, “It’s never been this bad. That’s why I have to believe it’s just like a temporary thing.”

Elsewhere, Lala reflected on a special family member. “I got Lilly when I was 20 years old,” Lala said in her confessional. She went to an animal shelter and spied “this little black ball of fur” and Lala felt “that she was going to be my soul mate.” When Lala was struggling with alcohol addiction and her dad’s death, “Lilly, like, gave me purpose.” She added, “Like, I can just see it in her eyes that she’s ready. Her body has fully given up on her.”

Kristen arrived and hugged Lala. “I don’t know what to do about this dog,” Lala cried. Of course, they also dished about Mexico. “I’m struggling to understand how you can defend this person, had you seen what was happening. Do you want to know what he said to me? ‘Why don’t you go to your husband?’” Lala said, referencing Danny.

“The way he speaks to women, including his wife. And then, bro, she blocked me as if she were a f*cking lineman in a prairie dress,” she added.

However, Kristen was not “seeing” any of Danny’s bad behavior. “I’m just like in my bubble,” she explained. Then Lala mentioned that the next day was her “seven-year sobriety birthday.” And there will be a celebration!

In Santa Clarita, Luke, Jesse, and Schwartz showed up to tease Danny before his vasectomy. Nia was out of town for the Miss USA pageant. However, she did arrange childcare starting on the day of the procedure. Danny was anxious about it, so Jesse made a toast to Danny’s balls. Classy!

Next, the men discussed the last night in Mexico. Jesse shared that Janet was “vulnerable” and opened up about a “past trauma.” However, Danny pointed out that Janet’s recollection about him drinking in the pantry changed several times.

“When it comes to Janet and her trauma, I feel bad. I was unaware of any of that. But I think she’s projecting her own hurt onto me,” Danny said in his talking head. “And using me as a punching bag is not fair.”

The next day, Danny arrived for his vasectomy, sporting all black. And Zack was his wingman. In the waiting room, a horrified Zack heard Danny screaming during the procedure. So much for that laughing gas. Yikes!

When Lala arrived for her sobriety birthday dinner, she shared some sad news. Lala had to make the difficult decision to put her dog, Lilly, to sleep. “I want tonight to be, obviously, a celebration of my sobriety, because it’s a really big deal for me. But also take a moment to celebrate Lilly …,” an emotional Lala said.

“Reaching seven years, of course, I feel extremely proud,” she said in her confessional. “I am overwhelmed with gratitude.” Lala wanted to celebrate her beloved Lilly’s life “because her life literally gave me mine.”

Later, Janet mentioned how, at the airport, she and Jesse’s girlfriend, Lacy, started following each other. Zack followed Janet after losing a bet. However, he unfollowed her 48 hours later. “I love you, but it’s petty,” Michelle told Zack.

Eventually, Lala said to Kristen, “At what point do we just acknowledge that no matter what Janet does, for you, she can do no right?” Kristen replied, “So my answer is, I don’t trust you for sh*t, honestly. I don’t think that I know you.” So, Janet repeatedly asked why Kristen felt that way.

“You like to hurt people, and you want to be mean to people. And that’s not someone I was ever friends with,” Kristen stated. She said in her talking head, “When people show you who they are, aren’t you supposed to believe them? Janet’s an *sshole. I believe her.”

A frustrated Lala weighed in during her confessional. “I can only blame it on the comment section,” she explained. Then, Janet spoke up. “As long as you guys realize this is why the group is shattered,” she stated. “I am trying.” Cue Kristen’s maniacal giggle. “My group is not shattered,” Kristen insisted. “This group is shattered,” Michelle replied.

Jasmine and Melissa’s engagement party was elegant and gorgeous. Kudos to our Kentucky muffin for planning the soiree.

Lala opined that this was the first time that she felt that a couple would last forever. While discussing the previous night’s dinner, Lala admitted to Janet, “I have yet to get an answer from Kristen or Zack that makes sense about what you have done to them.”

For Janet, the battle was over. “Whatever. I’ve tried. I’ve given it my all both ’cause I want peace and because I want peace when we’re all together,” she explained. “At this point, I’m like, I have to just be.”

Finally, Jasmine and Melissa arrived, clad in white ensembles, as everyone cheered. Meanwhile, Jesse mentioned Janet’s previous trauma to Kristen and Lacy. “I have not heard about any of this,” Kristen remarked, “and it’s just odd to me that this is now coming out.”

Later, Janet joined Jesse, who was sitting alone. “I really think she brings out the best in you,” Janet said of Lacy. “And I had a blast with her in Mexico.” While Jesse feels it is “nice to hear” these things from Janet, he also feels that there is “strategy” involved.

And Zack gave a sweet speech. “You guys together just makes me believe in love, and just so happy that we could be here to celebrate you today. And I can’t wait to celebrate you on your wedding day,” he said. This was a desperately needed, feel-good moment.
