Britney Spears could be ready for a comeback with some new talent by her side. The Toxic singer has been on hiatus from music for several years while on her own healing journey. That journey is not just about personal growth but about reconnecting with her sons.
Things between her and son Jayden appear to be going well, with the Princess of Pop doing everything to support his love of music. Britney is blown away by her son’s talent saying, “He’s a huge star.” She also teased that audiences overseas may be in for a treat in the future.
Could Britney and her son perform outside of the US?
It sounds like Britney is ready to get back out there and do concerts, but not in the US. She made that abundantly clear on Instagram, saying, for sensitive reasons, she’ll never perform in the US again. The door is still open for a potential world tour though. Britney said she hopes to be sitting on a stool with a red rose in her hair, in a bun, performing with her son “in the UK and AUSTRALIA very soon.”
About a year ago, Britney opened up about Jayden’s desire to be in the music industry, something she said she fully supports. Insiders say Britney sees herself in Jayden. They add that she loves his style and thinks he has such a fresh sound that will delight audiences. He apparently has so much promise that he’s destined for great things.
Britney has had a complicated relationship with her two sons, whom she lost custody of to Kevin Federline when the two divorced years ago. Her ex-husband flung plenty of accusations about her in his tell-all memoir last year, claiming she did coke while breastfeeding the kids.
While Britney and Jayden seem to be doing well, things appear rocky between her and her other son, Sean. He rejected her Christmas invite, reportedly leaving the pop star very hurt.
Britney hasn’t gone on tour since 2018’s Piece of Me, which was the second best-selling female tour that year.
