Fans are waiting to see who will be on The Real Housewives of Orange County’s special 20th season. Only one cast member has been officially confirmed, and another has been officially removed from the lineup. Katie Ginella confirmed she won’t be returning for RHOC 20. Her son, Brandon Ginella, reminded her, though, that every cloud has a silver lining!
Katie’s son is no fan of Real Housewives of Orange County star Emily Simpson
“So, I just told Brandon that mommy is not going to be a Housewife anymore, and he was so sweet about it,” Katie shared in a TikTok video. In the video, she was in the car with her son Brandon, smiling in the backseat.
“He was like ‘Mom, maybe this is better,’” Katie continued to share. “You won’t have to see Emily (Simpson) ever again,” she concluded with a chuckle. Brandon was referring to his mom’s feud with Emily and Gretchen Rossi.
Katie went on to explain that Brandon was trying to cheer her up. “He said, ‘Mommy, we should be celebrating. This is great!’ So…” Katie paused and then picked up a takeout paper bag of Taco Bell to show the camera.
“That’s how we’re celebrating,” Brandon explained. It looks like Katie and her son are going to be marking her departure from RHOC with some Taco Bell goodness.
Katie’s youngest son may have a point though. Her second season on RHOC was tumultuous at best. Between arguments with cast members, more than one feud, and a disastrous lie detector incident, it looked like the tides were turning against her.
At BravoCon, Katie said she was open to moving forward with the cast even after the crazy season. She still had some friends after all. Katie is friendly with confirmed cast member for RHOC 20, Vicki Gunvalson. She is also still friends with Tamra Judge. But it looks like all that wasn’t enough to secure her a spot.
At least she still has some good food and Brandon’s positive outlook to help cheer her up!
