Timothee Chalamet was one of the nominees for Best Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical/Comedy. While he sat with Kylie Jenner in the audience, they did not make a red carpet appearance as a couple. In a conversation with Daily Mail, body language expert Judi James claimed that Chalamet’s decision to walk the 2026 Golden Globes red carpet alone might hurt Jenner.
James said, “The line will probably be that he didn’t want any distractions, but with many other top stars happily posing up with their other-halves and with Kylie looking especially red carpet-ready, it might have appeared rather hurtful to not pose with her now that they would appear to be officially “in love” and went to great pains to show it to the camera at last week’s awards.”
The Kylie Cosmetics founder wore a gold Ashi Studio body-hugging gown for the event. The dress featured a sweetheart neckline and thin gold straps across her chest and shoulders. Her accessories included Lorraine Schwartz jewellery and a vintage Gucci clutch. She finalised the look with Christian Louboutin heels.
While Jenner was dressed to command attention, Chalamet’s outfit was more low-key. The “A Complete Unknown” star sported an all-black look, featuring a vest, blazer, and trousers. He accessorized with a silver chain, which matched the hardware on his blazer and shoes. He took home the Golden Globe award for Best Male Actor and gave a subtle shoutout to Jenner in his acceptance speech.
