Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence, but that hasn’t stopped him from making a massive sale.
A highly-publicised trial last year saw Diddy convicted of two prostitution-related charges and sentenced to federal prison. As well as serving prison time, Diddy was also sentenced to five years of supervised release and handed a $500,000 fine, which is the maximum fine allowable. The disgraced music mogul is currently not due for release from prison until June 2028.
Sean “Diddy” Combs has sold his matte black private jet
Despite him being in prison, PEOPLE this week reported that Diddy has sold his private jet, a Gulfstream G550 aircraft.
This was seemingly confirmed by a representative for Silver Air Private Jets, a private aviation company that previously managed charters for the aircraft. A spokesperson who spoke to PEOPLE said they no longer manage the aircraft following a change in ownership.
There’s more evidence, too. FAA registry records seen by PEOPLE seemingly confirm a change in the aircraft’s tail number.
While it’s unclear how much Diddy’s jet sold for, similar models are priced between $15 million and $30 million. And, it’s not hard to see why, The jet, which was built in 2015, has a matte black exterior and stylish beige interior. It seats up to 14 passengers, is pet-friendly, and includes an entertainment system.
Diddy was frequently photographed boarding the private jet and even uploaded content from it on his social media. In July 2024, he posted a clip of himself boarding the plane to his Instagram Story. In the video, Diddy was greeted by private flight personnel and panned the camera to a “Combs Air” placemat.
“No place like home,” he said at the end of the video.
