Season 4 of The Traitors is underway! And host Alan Cumming has already turned the game on its head. He introduced a new element into the competition – a Secret Traitor.
The Secret Traitor created a shortlist of who could be murdered. For the Traitors, Alan selected Real Housewives alums Candiace Dillard Bassett and Lisa Rinna, as well as Love Island USA star Rob Rausch. However, the Secret Traitor was unmasked rather quickly when the Faithfuls banished sweet Donna Kelce. Still, for viewers, there are many details about life in the castle that we would love to know. Let’s start with breakfast!
The Traitors cast fought over one breakfast item in the morning
It seems that the competition starts bright and early to snag certain food items. “I was eating the salmon and the eggs, the chocolate croissants,” Candiace told PEOPLE. “The salmon was so good, but here’s the thing: everybody liked the salmon,” RuPaul’s Drag Race star Monet X Change said. “It was a struggle to get the salmon.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac alum added, “It was only like two pieces for all 20 of us. If you were last at breakfast, you got no salmon.” Now that is devious. So, don’t even think about being late! “You got some orange juice and a coffee and called it a day,” Monet said of any late contestants.
Meanwhile, Candiace learned to multitask at breakfast. She explained that she would often be “contouring Tara [Lipinski] while having an egg in one hand.” Tara stated, “Candiace was like my makeup artist,” while Candiace added that “she, me, and her was the glam.” I guess Candiace wants people to look good before they are put up to be murdered.
Season 4 is certainly shaping up to be iconic, but maybe Alan could spare some more salmon for his guests?
