The Traitors spoilers ahead! Most fans know Donna Kelce as the mom behind NFL brothers Jason and Travis Kelce, a role that turned her into a surprise celebrity. From watching her two sons face off in the Super Bowl to being talked about as Taylor Swift’s future mother-in-law, she’s built a fan base of her own.
That visibility recently followed her into reality television when she joined The Traitors. The Peacock competition series centers on secrecy and strategy, and Donna’s performance ended up taking both of her sons by surprise.

Jason and Travis discussed their mom’s time on the show during the January 14 episode of their New Heights podcast. Jason said Donna’s gameplay truly impressed him.
“I thought she did fantastic,” said Jason. “Like, I know she was eliminated, but I think it’s really hard to go into those shows as, like, an outsider that you become, like, an easy target to try and maneuver in that show.” He continued, “I loved watching her in it. She was way more deceitful and devious than I thought Mom could ever be, which was surprising.”
Travis agreed and focused on how Donna handled herself during tense moments. “She stood her ground at the round table.” He added, “I was so proud of her, man. She looked like she was having a blast, enjoying it all…it was just so cool to see her in this moment.”
Travis also pointed out Donna’s unique position on the series as the first-ever secret Traitor. He added that Donna’s appearance showed the value of trying new things later in life.
Donna was voted out at the Episode 3 roundtable. She reflected, “Playing a Traitor was tough, but I gave it my best shot.” She added through tears, “This has been a dream come true. These are happy tears that I get to do this at this point in my life. It’s just the joy of being in the game.”
