The King could meet up with his youngest son and daughter-in-law sooner than expected. The Invictus Games are coming to Birmingham in 2027. In anticipation of the big event, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may come back to the UK in July.
King Charles saw him in the fall of 2025. The two had tea together during Harry’s last visit to his homeland. This summer will present the King with a unique opportunity to see several members of his family.
Meghan Markle could return to the UK after four years

A return to the UK would be under much more joyous terms for Meghan than her previous visit. This summer would mark nearly four years since the actress was last in the UK for the funeral of Charles’ mother, Queen Elizabeth II, in 2022. One royal insider tells RadarOnline that a visit between Harry, Meghan, and Charles presents a calculated opportunity.
While there is said to be a great deal of hostility between the King, Harry, and his daughter-in-law, there’s one thing that may smooth things over. It’s believed that bringing their kids Archie and Lilibet would almost certainly lead to a meeting between all of them. Charles is said to always have a soft spot for his grandchildren.
In an effort not to get involved or be tied to Harry’s High Court privacy case, it was reported that Charles was making a calculated move to reject him. While insiders do not expect the King to take a role in the Invictus Games, they believe he would see Harry if he were around, along with his kids. If so, they say, “that scenario would almost certainly involve a meeting with Meghan as well.”
Seeing his grandchildren is said to be the only thing that may compel Charles to act in a manner he wouldn’t otherwise.
Harry founded the Invictus Games in 2014 to honor wounded service men and veterans. The 2027 Invictus Games will take place at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.
