Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are rolling the dice in hopes of finally achieving Hollywood success. That has been hard to come by since the pair left the UK for California in 2020. They have been hustling to try and make a name for themselves since departing the royal family.
Meghan’s podcast Archetypes was cancelled after one season, while the other, Confessions of a Female Founder, has been on hiatus since June. Her brand, As Ever, has gotten mixed reviews, while the show With Love, Meghan, has yet to be renewed for a third season. Harry and Meghan have been working feverishly to put together a hit. Their upcoming project could be a “make-or-break moment” for them, according to a source.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will produce Netflix rom-com The Wedding Date

The royal couple have struggled to find their footing Hollywood, but their next project could change all that. Harry and Meghan are producing an adaptation of The Wedding Date on Netflix.
Despite past ventures not working out, “Meghan’s bristling with confidence,” a source told RadarOnline about this upcoming film. She believes that with Netflix’s backing, casting for the movie won’t be a problem. However, Meghan has apparently developed a reputation of being a “Difficult Duchess,” which may make casting a grind.
If she and Harry are to get A-list stars, sources say that Meghan will need to dial down the intensity. The Wedding Date is an adaptation of a book written by New York Times bestselling author Jasmine Guillory. It tells the story of a Groomsman and his last-minute guest who are about to discover if a fake date can go the distance.
While things haven’t worked out for them in Hollywood for years, Meghan has set the bar high with lofty goals for her Hollywood comeback.
