These days, Reza Farahan is feeling happier than ever. He’s thrilled to be back on TV with The Valley: Persian Style. He’s happy and in love with his husband, and he’s also happy that his bestie, Mercedeh Javid, is no longer with hers. Well, sort of.
Reza Farahan is happy to be “back home” on Bravo
After seven years of marriage, Mercedeh and Tommy Feight announced their divorce in October 2025. The news came several months before The Valley: Persian Style premiered on Bravo, and now that the show is airing, we’re getting a lot more insight into their relationship’s dynamic.
Reza has been watching their drama unfold both in real life and on screen, so during a chat with Access Hollywood, he said that part of him felt “happy” to see Mercedeh finally move on from Tommy.
“I’m very happy for her,” Reza said. “Although I’m incredibly sad that her marriage ended, I’m very happy for her that she realized that she needed different in her life.”
Of course, Tommy and Reza have history of their own, and Reza teased that there might be some more drama in store for them later on this season of The Valley. With that in mind, he said that Mercedeh’s divorce felt even more bittersweet.
He explained, “I’m not saying I’m happy she’s getting a divorce. I’m very sad, but I’m happy that potentially your significant other might be someone other than Tommy.”
What makes Reza even happier is being back in the spotlight on Bravo. Ever since Shahs of Sunset ended, he has been angling to find his way back to reality TV. Now that he’s back on Bravo, being messy and keeping us all entertained, he knows he’s right where he belongs.
“Bravo feels like home for me,” Reza gushed. “I was blessed to be there for 10 years and nine seasons, so to get to come back with The Valley: Persian Style and have it be received the way that it has been with the audience, it feels so good. I’m like, literally full of gratitude.”
The Valley: Persian Style airs on Bravo on Thursdays at 9/8c.
