The socialite shared that she is a “fun” mom to her young kids, while her husband tends to be the stricter parent, creating a balance in their approach to raising their children.

Paris Hilton has often spoken publicly about her kids, Phoenix and London, whom she shares with husband Carter Reum. During her appearance at Clive Davis’ 2026 Pre-Grammy Gala, E! News asked her which parent is stricter between her and her husband.
Hilton replied, “I’m not strict. I’m just the fun mom. I love to do art with them, have fun with them. They stay up late with me. Carter’s always like, ‘They have to go to bed.’” In fact, her children are so used to having fun with her that they insisted on coming along to the gala. She recalled, “They were both saying that they wanna come so I felt bad ‘cause I was like, ‘You guys can’t come, it’s a party.’”
Phoenix turned three years old on January 16. The “Simple Life” star revealed that they were on the road at the time, so they could not throw a birthday party to celebrate the milestone. She shared, “Today he asked me, he’s like, ‘When are we planning my birthday party?’ So we’re going to plan it very soon.”
Hilton even has a theme picked out for her son’s birthday bash, as she said, “I think we’re going to do a ‘Paris and Pups’ theme.” She added, “It’s my new animated series on YouTube that’s based on my life and my puppies. So, we’re going to do that.” Last month, she had been busy promoting her new documentary film, “Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir.”
