Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently attended the NBA All-Star Game. On the Valentine’s weekend, they spent a sporty date night, enjoying a basketball match with other celebrities. Meanwhile, a body language expert noticed that the Sussex couple was showing “tension” and “frustration,” almost at the same time. However, they were later photographed smiling, while Markle lovingly held on to her husband’s arm.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s gestures hint at ‘frustration’ at NBA Game, says expert
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s gestures at their recent outing reportedly appeared to hint at “frustration.” On Sunday, the couple attended the NBA All-Star Game, where they were spotted waving and smiling at the cameras. However, a few pictures showcased different emotions.
Body language expert Inbaal Honigman told HELLO! Magazine that the hand gestures of the celebrity parents showed signs of “tension.” She claimed that the duo was spotted holding onto their respective wrists, which appeared to hint at “some frustration.”
According to the expert, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex “used the same non-verbal gesture at the same time!” They both held onto their own wrists, although they had smiles on their faces. “This move, of holding one’s own wrist, signifies a desire to restrain oneself, and is also a self-soothing gesture,” Honigman said.
Furthermore, she revealed that Markle’s smile looked “perfectly lovely.” However, Harry was seen “curling his fingers” at some point. Aside from such observations, the two appeared to have a wonderful date, especially when the mother of two held onto Harry’s arm.
Moreover, the Sussexes attended the game, alongside other celebrities. Some of them included Queen Latifah, Vin Diesel, former president Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama, Tyla, and Ludacris.
In another report, Markle’s “upgraded engagement ring” also made headlines. Allegedly, she wore the jewelry on her right hand, and it seemingly appeared to indicate that it was not a gift from her husband.
