The Love Is Blind pods are back open … but one contestant seemingly wishes he hadn’t been so open on the show.
Season 10’s Alex Henderson has revealed he was blindsided that Netflix aired a sex conversation he had with Ashley Carpenter.

After getting engaged in the pods (sorry, spoiler!), Alex and Ashley jetted off to Cabo, but things took a bit of a turn between the pair.
In one Season 10 scene, Ashley confronted Alex about why he stopped initiating sex with her. This prompted him to reveal his confusion about ovulation times and the chances of getting pregnant. To that, Ashley said she had no plans to “trap” Alex with a baby.
It’s an awkward scene to say the least, and one which Alex didn’t think would make it on the air. “You just broke that news to me. So no, I did not think that was a thing,” he told US Weekly upon finding out the chat features in the show.
“But I hope I sound educated. I probably don’t, though,” Alex added.
Elsewhere in his interview, Alex revealed more about his job, which was another point of contention between him and Ashley. On the show, they clashed over his preference for a “nomad” lifestyle compared to her career motivations.
Listing off his former jobs, the contestant revealed he worked at Merrill Lynch and a Canadian bank before COVID “ended” his career. After that, Alex went traveling and landed in Australia, where he worked as a fisherman, a gym manager, and a casino dealer. How random!?
After that, Alex returned to the US and “tried to figure out” his next steps. And those next steps ended up being Love Is Blind.
“[Explaining] that to somebody for a marriage without trauma dumping is borderline impossible,” he said of his interesting career history. “So that was my best attempt at it.”
