When Real Housewives of London star Amanda Cronin went out in her new £250,000 luxury car, she got caught speeding. She was cited for driving in excess of the limit on May 26 last year.
In court, the former model pled guilty to driving her V8 Bentley Continental GT at 4mph above the 20mph limit. Whoa, British traffic cops are strict! Americans don’t even think we’re speeding until we’re at least 10mph over the limit.

Unfortunately, Amanda received three penalty points for the offense. But due to her history of speeding offenses, the total of twelve points triggered an automatic six-month driving ban.
Amanda had already accumulated nine points on her license for speeding offenses. She was cited on October 10, 2023; August 21, 2024; and November 3, 2024.
Even though she pleaded to be allowed to continue driving, as she cares for her 85-year-old mother, the judge disagreed. In addition, she was fined £146, with £130 costs and ordered to pay a £58 victim surcharge.
Meanwhile, Amanda insisted her drivers license is vital, as her mother depends on her to drive her to medical appointments. “She is still living on her own, and I am very close to my mother,” she told the court. “I am a huge part of her life, and she is trying to live independently.”
Furthermore, Amanda told the court that her mother is in remission from cancer, has a degenerative back condition and osteoporosis. “She’s in a lot of pain and has declined quite rapidly the last two years,’ she continued. “She is a stubborn woman and may not get the care … she needs if I do not have my car.
While the judge claimed to be sympathetic to Amanda’s situation, he persisted: “You are going to have to put together other arrangements for six months, because you are going to be disqualified from driving.”
