Next week, Age of Attraction debuts on Netflix. In this dating experiment, contestants are prohibited from revealing their age, which ranges from 22 to 60 years old. Once their bonds are forged and their ages made known, however, they’ll need to determine one thing. Is age just a number, or is age an absolute deal-breaker?
Here’s a breakdown of the cast list and trailer.
Nick Viall and Natalie Joy host Age of Attraction
There are twenty men and twenty women appearing on Age of Attraction. As for the women, their names are Angel, Ashley, Brenda, Chloé, Elise, Erin, Joleen, Katharine, Lauren, Leah, Libby, Lindsey, Michelle, Pfeifer, Sophie, Theresa, Tiffany, Vanelle, Vanessa, and Vicki. Career-wise, these women do it all, from teaching to owning their own LLC.
Meanwhile, the men are Andrew, Billy, Brian, Charles, Chris, David E., David G., Derrick, Isaiah, Jacques, John, Jorge, Josh, Justin G., Justin S., Len, Logan, Sean, Tristan, and West. Work-wise, these men are also varied. Within, we’ve got everything from bar owners to attorneys.
Elsewhere, Natalie Joy and Nick Viall serve as the hosts, since they have an 18-year age gap themselves. As Natalie noted in the trailer, “Here, age is just a number. You’ll be dating without ever knowing how old your partner is.” Cue an immediate sense of WTF from their contestants.
“I don’t know if these guys are my age, my dad’s age, my grandpa’s age,” one woman stressed. Later, another contestant found themselves in a similar predicament. As they confessed to their potential match, “In a regular situation, I would probably want to set you up with my daughter,” who’s 29.
Sure enough, we then see this man admitting, “Everyone thinks I’m significantly older than I am. I think I’m gonna shock her. Get your seatbelt on.”
Age of Attraction premieres on Netflix on Wednesday, March 11, with episodes 1-5, followed by episodes 6-8 on Wednesday, March 18. The finale on Wednesday, March 25.
