A new Netflix series aims to prove that, when it comes to dating, age is just a number.
The social-experiment series will see singles ranging from 22 to 59 date each other without knowing their ages. It will be hosted by husband-and-wife Nick Viall and Natalie Joy, who have an 18-year age gap themselves.

The new dating show, called Age of Attraction, will be released on Netflix later this year. Can’t wait? Well, the streaming giant just dropped a teaser trailer for it.
“Age is thrown out the window when singles search for their soulmates, but will the years come between them?” a YouTube synopsis of the show said. “In this new unscripted social-experiment dating series, hosted by Nick Viall and Natalie Joy, a group of daters will discover whether love is truly ageless.”
“Here, age is just a number,” Natalie declared in the trailer. “You’ll be dating without ever knowing how old your partner is.”
As well as introducing us to the hosts, the trailer gave us a glimpse at some of the contestants. “I don’t know if these guys are my age, my dad’s age, [or] my grandpa’s age,” one cast member said. “I’m getting nervous.”
In a later clip, another woman explained that the man she was dating is someone she’d usually introduce to her daughter.
Unsurprisingly, viewers had a lot to say about the trailer – and the concept of the show. “Even looking at this is uncomfortable. Age does matter, I guess,” said @skrjais on X.
“Looks like an interesting concept. Curious to see how it plays out,” shared @mmwalk. “Interesting concept,” agreed @Ermeeking. “It’ll be fascinating to see how people navigate love without age labels.”
In other Viall news, fans are also anxiously waiting to see if Natalie and Nick will ever apologize to Southern Charm star Austen Kroll after making an incredibly insensitive remark about his late sister during a podcast.
Age of Attraction episodes one to five premiere on Netflix on March 11.
