David shared a childhood picture of Brooklyn alongside him with a short caption celebrating the milestone. “Happy birthday Bust,” he wrote, followed by a pink heart emoji, and added, “Love you x.”
Victoria also posted her own tribute, sharing a nostalgic image of herself with her son and writing, “Happy 27th birthday Brooklyn, I love you so much,” along with a string of heart emojis.
Despite the seemingly warm gestures, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Brooklyn did not view the posts positively. According to the insider, he allegedly felt the public messages came across as “performative” rather than meaningful.
“Brooklyn is disheartened that his parents chose to make public Instagram posts for his birthday,” the source claimed. The insider further alleged that such gestures are “the type of performative actions that he’s been trying to put an end to.”
