In case you missed it, The Traitors Season 4 winner Rob Rausch has ventured into a new space. He’s narrating an erotic audio story on the Quinn app called The Snake Handler. It’s inspired by his life in Alabama wrangling up snakes, but his Traitors co-star, Dorinda Medley, totally misunderstood what she was hearing. She thought Rob was reading poetry he wrote.
Dorinda Medley thought Rob Rausch was a poetry writer
Rob is currently on a victory tour after his Traitors Season 4 win, and he made a stop on SiriusXM’s Reality Checked with Dorinda and Kiki Monique. When they started talking about Rob’s new audio story, Dorinda shared her hilariously wrong reaction to it. She heard a snippet online, thought it was poetry, and immediately texted her longtime Radio Andy producer to applaud Rob’s writing skills.
Dorinda recalled, “I said, ‘Can you believe above all this stuff this guy does, he now writes damn poetry? Could he be more perfect?’ And she goes, she writes back to me ‘Uh, did you listen to the whole thing?'”
According to Dorinda, she didn’t listen to the whole thing, so she never fully grasped that it wasn’t poetry and is actually a spicy story about a snake handler getting lucky.
“I mean, I haven’t listened to the whole thing because I really don’t listen to that kind of stuff because my ears and my eyes are the temple to my soul,” Dorinda explained.
Rob replied, “I understand. I understand. I respect that. Well, I mean, it’s kind of a cool woman-owned woman-run company, you know, we love that. We support that.”
Dorinda will probably never listen to the whole thing, because she doesn’t want to taint her virgin ears. She’s also too busy gearing up for unofficial The Real Housewives of New York spinoff, The Golden Life. It’s okay, though, because Rob hasn’t heard the whole thing either.
Rob confessed, “I haven’t listened to it. I don’t know if, I just think I’m too self-conscious for that.”
The Traitors is streaming on Peacock.
