On March 10, Ciara Miller was a guest on her Summer House costar Carl Radke’s More Life podcast.
During the interview, Ciara revealed that she’s no longer working as a nurse, after getting fired last year. But the unusual thing about her story was the way she was fired.

On his podcast, Carl asked, “You still work as a nurse?”
“Mmmmm,” Ciara responded with a shrug and a wave of her hand, “No.”
“Not as much?” Carl wondered.
Besides being a registered nurse, Ciara has a side gig as a model. She financed nursing school with her modeling paychecks. At one time she was even a Victoria’s Secret model.
“Well, I got fired last year,” she finally admitted. “Wait, what’s this year? 2025, 2026? Okay, well I got fired at the top of 2025.”
“Wait, you got fired?” a shocked Carl asked. “I’d high five you. I’ve been fired before.”
“It’s fine,” his housemate assured him. “This is my first time being fired. Well, they fired me via email. I’m like, okay.”
“That’s cold blooded,” Carl chuckled. “What happened?”
“No, they’re just like, ‘Releasing your position. If you don’t reply, then we’ll consider yourself gone. If you do, then you’re gonna be on probation or some disciplinary action.’ I was like, who’s gonna reply to be on disciplinary action?”
“No one,” Carl agreed.
“But also, my boss was like, ‘Why are you here?'” Ciara concluded.
In addition to being trained as an ICU nurse, Ciara’s an influencer and a model. She’s also a reality TV star, although after her bestie Paige DeSorbo left Summer House, she and Amanda Batula considered dipping out, too.
She worked on the front lines during the Covid pandemic in Atlanta, Georgia. But by 2025, she had reduced her hours significantly, working only occasionally to maintain her license.
Ciara previously described her “love-hate relationship” with nursing, finding it fulfilling but emotionally draining.
