Congratulations are in order for Jack Osbourne and his wife, Aree Gearheart, who have welcomed a daughter together. Sharing the announcement on Instagram, the couple also revealed their newborn’s name, which is a sweet tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. He passed away last year in July at the age of 76.

“Introducing Ozzy Matilda Osbourne,” Jack and Aree wrote on Instagram, welcoming their new arrival. The post also revealed the little one was born on the morning of March 5.
Beyond the newborn’s sweet name, there was another tribute to the late musician in the Instagram post. Sitting next to little Ozzy was a fluffy bat, an animal which had become synonymous with the Black Sabbath singer.
“My heart is melting. Love to you and all the family. CONGRATULATIONS,” someone said in response to the post. “How beautiful, congratulations,” commented another fan. “Congratulations to you both; she has the most perfect name,” added a third person.
Jack has another daughter with his wife, Aree, three-year-old Maple. He also has three other daughters from his previous relationship with Lisa Stelly. Their names are Pearl Clementine, Andy Rose, and Minnie Theodora.
Jack announced that he and Aree were expecting again after leaving the I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! jungle last December. Speaking on the hit UK show about the news, he called it “a healthy distraction” and “partly healing.”
Since Ozzy’s passing last year, the Osbournes have been open and honest with their fans about their grief. That said, his sister Kelly Osbourne has found herself under intense public scrutiny over grief-related weight loss. This has prompted her to speak out on social media on more than one occasion.
