There’s no perfect way to introduce your young child to your new partner. But, for Love Is Blind Season 10 viewers, this contestant’s attempt wasn’t even close. In the pods, Amber Morrison fell hard for Jordan Faeth.
They got engaged and began preparing for their upcoming wedding date. It wasn’t just going to be a big step for the new couple; Amber is the proud mother of a seven-year-old daughter Emma. Luckily, she did introduce her to Jordan … but they only spent one day together before the wedding. Fans were confused and disappointed by this, but Amber is still maintaining that they just don’t get it.
Love Is Blind’s Amber allowed her seven-year-old to meet her now-ex Jordan
Amber was a recent guest on Nick Viall and Natalie Joy’s infamous podcast, The Viall Files. During the segment she defended getting hitched with only a few hours for her daughter to meet her future stepdad.
“I’m going to be honest, that one day that they met, they had an impeccable bond. It was amazing. I could feel it. My daughter doesn’t really get close to that many people, and they just bonded instantly,” she explained in the March 13 episode.
This bond didn’t last long, though. The couple revealed in the Season 10 reunion that they are getting a divorce. In fact, they never even moved in together. Jordan has accused Amber of being the one to drag out their divorce proceedings after only four months of marriage.
“He didn’t even say bye to Emma, and Emma was extremely hurt about it at first. “She’s doing well now, like, her and I have had conversations. She has so much love from her father and I.”
Love Is Blind is streaming on Netflix.
