Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson shut down the red carpet at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on March 15. While chatting with E! News‘ reporter on the red carpet, Hudson said that all she and her mother needed to collaborate on a project was “a good script.” She continued, “You know, I got my whole family. I got my dad. I got my son, my man. Yeah, it’s going to be a fun night.”
Hawn notably won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1970 for her performance in Cactus Flower. The veteran actor has been in a committed relationship with Kurt Russell since the 1980s. When Hawn, Russell, and Hudson went to grab drinks at the Oscars, they posed together for photos, commemorating the event with a little family moment (via E! News).
The mother-daughter duo stunned in matching metallic gowns. While Hudson wore a strapless teal Armani Privé gown, her mother donned a black halterneck gown with a sparkling silver embellishment along the V-neckline. The silver details also cascaded down the background. Further, Hawn also wore black opera gloves.
The “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” star accessorised with Garatti jewelry. She wore her blonde hair parted to the side and swept on her right shoulder. Hawn, who has the same blonde hair as her daughter, styled her hair in waves with bangs and wore a diamond bracelet. Meanwhile, Russell wore a black tuxedo over a crisp white shirt. He finished off his look with shiny black dress shoes.
